Law enforcement officials are conducting a manhunt in the Riverbend Community in Moore County on Tuesday for a suspect charged with common law robbery and felony fleeing to elude arrest, according to the Moore County Sheriff's Office.

Eric Wayne Callihan, 27, of 64 Saddleview Lane in Cameron, was also charged with larceny of a motor vehicle. He is suspected in a series of breaking, entering and larceny cases in the area.

Callihan was charged in April with six counts of felony breaking and entering, seven counts of felony larceny and seven counts of felony possession of stolen goods, three counts of attempted felony breaking and entering, one count of larceny of a firearm, one count of possession of a stolen firearm and one count of possession of a stolen motor vehicle.

Callihan, described as about 5-foot-7 and 200 pounds, was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt and blue jeans on Tuesday. Authorities said he has short, brown hair and blue eyes.

Authorities said Callihan should be considered armed and dangerous.
