le Tour de Femme is a beautiful sight. For the 18th year, this women's-only cycling event will raise money for cancer early detection and survivorship in the Triangle.

The catchphrase of le Tour de Femme – “in the fight against cancer, no one rides alone" – is evident in the accessibility. The event offers rides for all abilities and fitness levels, from a 9-mile single-track mountain bike course with beginner, medium and advanced loops to fully supported 15-, 30- and 60-mile road courses with multiple rest stops.

The fun begins at 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 14 at Little River Regional Park in Durham.
