Cities in the Triangle are hosting events to celebrate Night Out Against Crime on Aug. 5, 2008.

The "25th Annual National Night Out” is a crime and drug prevention event sponsored by the National Association of Town Watch (NATW). It is designed to heighten crime and drug awareness, in addition to strengthening neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships, according to the NATW.
