Men sought for murder after Goldsboro woman dies

Two men face murder charges in Goldsboro because a woman they were accused of shooting has died, according to police.

Two men face murder charges in Goldsboro because a woman they were accused of shooting has died, police said Friday.

Police on Friday issued murder warrants for Anthony Dwayne Jackson, of 408 N. Leslie St., and John Oscar Mumford, of 601 Whitted Court. They are at large.

Officers responding to a shooting call at about 7:30 p.m. Tuesday found Barbara Ann Bandy, 42, inside a vehicle in the 300 block of North Leslie Street.

Emergency crews took Bandy to Wayne Memorial Hospital. She was then flown to Pitt Memorial Hospital in Greenville and died there around 12:30 p.m. Thursday.
