Dunn man charged with murder in stepfather's death
Logan Matthew Suter, 17, is accused of shooting his stepfather at their house at 112-A Fairfield Circle on Sunday night.
Dunn police arrested a 17-year-old man Sunday night and charged him with murdering his stepfather.
Logan Matthew Suter is accused of shooting Edward Lancaster, 33, at their house at 112-A Fairfield Circle around 8:30 p.m.
Emergency crews took Lancaster to Betsy Johnson Regional Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police charged Logan Suter with second-degree murder and held him at the Harnett County Law Enforcement Center under a $150,000 secured bond.
His first court appearance was scheduled for Monday in Harnett County District Court in Lillington.
