A man wanted in connection with a shooting during a Nov. 3 home invasion is in custody, according to Durham police.
Cedric Antonio Joint, 26, was arrested Wednesday after authorities found him in an apartment near Hillsborough. Authorities said a tip to Durham CrimeStoppers led them to Joint.
Police said Joint and another man, Montez Stevons, shot a man in the abdomen in a home on House Avenue. Stevons was apprehended Dec. 21 by police.
Stevons also faces first-degree murder and robbery with a dangerous weapon for the Nov. 26 slaying of Eva Marie Johnson Jacobs during a home break-in.
Joint was placed in the Durham County Jail on $31,000 bond.
