Raleigh police have arrested more than a dozen people they say are responsible for 30 separate attacks.

Yama Senghore says she's glad police have finally captured the masked gunman who robbed the Handy Hugo's convenience store where she works three times since Halloween. She was behind the counter on New Year's Even, when the gunman pointed a pistol at her and demanded all the money in the cash register

Raleigh Police Lt. D.R. Lane says some of those arrested are believed to have committed multiple offenses.

Police say they have arrested a total of 18 people in connection with a the armed robberies, including four within a 24 hour period Monday. The majority of the crimes were committed in the North Raleigh area.

Lane says police set up a task force to track down the suspects in November.

According to Lane, the 18 suspects weren't working together, and that more suspects may be out there.

Police say those arrested robbed stores, stole money from individuals, and stole vehicles. Among those arrested were two juveniles.
