Members of the 75th Fighter squadron are back home just in time for the holidays. About 30 pilots and six A-10's arrived at Pope Air Force Base Monday.

The squadron spent the past 53 days enforcing the no-fly zone over southern Iraq. The mission was part of a regular rotation, but it was anything but routine.

The squadron was there when tensions with Iraq were at their highest, but one unidentified pilot said there were no incidents.

Now that the 75th squadron is back home, the 74th squadron based at Pope has taken over enforcement duty in in Iraq.
