Latinos Involved in Shooting

A shooting overnight has left one man dead and two women injured.

The Chatham County Sheriff's Department says no suspects have been identified yet, but one of the victims said the assailants were Latino. She said three males came into their home and robbed and shot all three occupants of the house.

The three victims are also Latino; none of their identities has been released.

The two women were transferred to UNC Hospitals, where one woman is reported in stable condition, the other in critical condition.

The shooting occurred at 28 Gees Church Road.
