Everything's Coming Up Azaleas

What better way to decorate your yard than flowers!! Eleven-thousand azaleas grown at the WRAL gardens will be blooming all over the area.

Folks picked up the flowers at today's annual azalea giveaway. The program was founded by the late AJ Fletcher and is sponsored by WRAL and Keep North Carolina Clean and Beautiful.

Cuttings from our gardens are grown into full plants, and donated to schools, churches, and other groups. Over the last 12 years, more than a hundred thousand plants have been given away.
