Woman Chased by Dog, Hit by Truck

A Fayetteville woman is in the hospital after being chased by a dog and then hit by a truck.

Police say 27-year-old Robin Wright was walking along a busy road when a dog startled her. They say Wright ran from the dog into oncoming traffic and right into the path of a pick-up truck.

Wright is listed in serious condition. The dog is being held by animal control until the owners can be notified.
