Teens Invited to Open House for Explorer Post Five

Parents, if your kids are interested in television as a possible future career, now is a good time for them to get a taste of the real thing. WRAL-TV5 and Explorer Post Five are holding an open house Tuesday night for anyone age 14 to 20.

Explorer Post Five is an organization that exposes teens to the reality of what it's like to work in television. Students learn how to run cameras, host shows, produce, direct, even edit programs. This year, they'll also learn how to post reports on the World Wide Web.

Anyone who'd like to attend should simply come to the WRAL studios Tuesday night. The open house runs from 6:30 to eight p.m. The studio is located at 2619 Western Boulevard in Raleigh. If you have questions, call821-8555.
