The family of a Wake County woman who police say was killed by two students skipping school, has set up a memorial fund in her name.
The Isabelle Scarboro fund will profit the library at the North Carolina School for the Deaf. The 79-year-old woman had three deaf children and is survived by many people who work for the school.
Anyone who would like may make a donation to ENCSD Foundation, P.O. Box 2811, Wilson, 27894.
Scarboro was found dead in her house last Tuesday. A short time later, police arrested two East Wake High School students and charged them with Scarboro's murder.
