Morrisville Police Officer and Dog Honored

A Morrisville police officer who was killed in a traffic accident back in May was honored Wednesday.

Sgt. W.E. Godwin was driving a Range Rover, carrying his police canine companion, when he died in a crash while answering a dispute call.

Godwin and his canine partner were honored Wednesday at the town hall for their years of service.

The dog was recently retired and given to Godwin's family.
