There's a frightening story out of Harnett County for anyone who lives alone or who has an elderly loved one who does. A woman found her 66-year-old aunt stabbed to death in her home yesterday.

Deputies say they have no leads yet. They say Christine Poole lived alone and that there was no sign of forced entry into her home. The doors and windows were all locked, and deputies say that could mean Poole knew her killer. There were no broken windows and nothing was out of place at the rural residence.

Friends, family and residents of the area say they will not rest until they have some answers. Carlos Cameron, the victim's nephew says he wants to know who did this.

The crime is tearing a community apart. Poole had moved into the house after relocating from Washington, D.C. just 11 months prior to her death. Family members say she moved to get away from the crime in the nation's capital.
