Kuralt Burial, UNC Memorial Service Tuesday

Charles Kuralt touched many lives during his life. Now his family wants to continue that tradition in his memory. Kuralt's family is asking that any memorial donations be made to the UNC School of Social Work.

Following a private burial service Tuesday morning, a public memorial service will be held at noon in UNC's Memorial Hall.

Among the speakers at the service will be retired CBS anchorman Walter Cronkite and North Carolina Governor Jim Hunt.

UNC Chapel Hill Chancellor Michael Hooker will preside over the ceremonies.
