Donors Can Register at 'Marrowthon' Thursday

Many people donate blood on a regular basis knowing they can help save lives by doing so. Fewer are aware that they can help save even more by registering as a marrow donor

WRAL-TV5's Health Team will be at the Jim Graham building at the state fairgrounds Thursday from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. for "Marrowthon 97" where a simple blood test will put you on a donor list. Sponsors are looking for donors between the ages of 18 and 60 who are in good health.
