Boy Drowns in Bathtub

Fayetteville investigators say they believe a boy's death is an accident.

Police say 7-year-old Michael Reese drowned in his bathtub last night. His parents told police he often suffered seizures. Heike Reese said she put her son in the bathtub, then dozed off. When she awoke, he was face down in the water. Officers say the parents and medics tried unsuccessfully to resuscitate the boy, but he died.

Investigators will return to the scene today to follow up.
