Zebulon Man Recovering from Gunshot Wound

Zebulon police say a man was wounded in an overnight shooting.

Shae Lavon Johnson, 22, of Shannon Road was shot in the right leg in the apartment complex at that address. Apparently, three subjects were standing in the play area of the complex and one of them shot Johnson.

Johnson suffered a wound in the leg and was taken to Wake Medical Center for treatment.

Police say they have no information on a possible motive or any suspects. They don't know if Johnson knew any of the suspects.
