2 CCB Banks Robbed in Durham

Durham police and CCB banks had a busy day Thursday. Two armed robbers struck at CCB branches in Durham within hours of each other.

The branch on Roxboro Road was hit at about 1 p.m. During that robbery, the suspect showed a gun and demanded money. He did get away with some cash, but police won't say how much.

Three hours later, another CCB was hit, this one on Hillsborough Road. The suspect revealed a .357 Magnum handgun, then fired it. He, too, made off with some money, but police pursued and caught him.
