Woman Killed in Johnston County Accident

Traffic is back to normal on highways 98 and 42 in Johnston County after a deadly accident Wednesday night.

Troopers say a driver heading east on Highway 96 was trying to turn onto Highway 42 when her car collided with a truck.

The driver of the car died, and the truck driver is in the hospital. Crews cleared the crash scene just before midnight.
