Dozens of kids spent their Saturday learning the rules of the road. It was the Kiwanis' first bicycle safety rodeo. Kids of all ages came out to Leesville High School for a day filled with learning activities about staying safe and having fun while hitting the road.

One parent brought her youngest out to get an early start at safety. She started her child on a Big Wheels with a helmet, so the child will grow up knowing always to use one.

The Raleigh Police Department was also on hand for free bicycle registration.
