Second Suspect Goes on Trial for Raleigh Murder

A man accused of killing an elderly Raleigh man is on trial. Flor Perez III is accused of killing Charles Murphy.

Murphy was a retired North Carolina State University employee. His body was found in a wooded area near Dunn in January, 1996. Police say Perez and his girlfriend Leslie Locklear stole Murphy's car and tried to flee to Connecticut.

Locklear has already been convicted of second-degree murder.
