State Wants to Make Workplace Safer

State health advocates are working to make everyone's work environment safer. Lawmakers are considering a bill aimed at reducing the number of repetitive-motion injuries.

Most motion injuries are caused by working in awkward positions, heavy lifting and over-exertion.

The proposed law would require new workplace rules to stop such problems before someone is affected.
