Cumberland Rest Stop Site of Robbery

A hold-up at a Cumberland County rest stop has authoritie s searching for the culprits.

Two men armed with handguns robbed a man inside a rest stop on I-95. State police and Department of Motor Vehicles officers patrol the rest stops but say they can't be everywhere at all times.

Truck driver Kenneth Gay says he is always careful, staying in his truck if he sees no officer around.

Trooper Robert Kidd says motorists noting anything suspicious should call the patrol as soon as possible. Emergency phone numbers are listed at area rest stops.
