Groundbreaking Scheduled for New Planned Parenthood Building

Planned Parenthood of Orange and Durham Counties is expanding and plans to erect a new health center.

In its new facility, the organization will for the first time provide patients with abortions. The new center will be built in Chapel Hill.

Last year, Chapel Hill Planned Parenthood booked 11,000 appointments for family planning and reproductive health care.

Groundbreaking for the new center is scheduled for May.
