Harnett County Woman Found Unfit for Trial

A judge has ruled that a Harnett County woman accused of strangling her son is not competent to stand trial.

Police charged Keturah Reese with first degree murder last September after she allegedly confessed to the crime, claiming that demons had possessed her at the time of her 8-year-old son's death.

Investigators say she strangled her son Justin, then dumped his body in a cotton field.

A judge has ruled that Reese is incapable of aiding in her own defense and has committed her to Dorothea Dix Hospital in Raleigh.
