Man Charged with Ram Killing Due in Court

The man charged with killing the University of North Carolina mascot was expected to appear in court Monday.

Scott Wade of Chapel Hill is charged with cruelty to animals. The Orange County District Attorney says the 26-year-old man apparently killed Rameses the ram for food.

If convicted, Wade could face up to 120 days in prison.
