South Carolina Woman Finds Children Dead

A mother of four returned home from an out-of-town trip to find her children dead. Investigators are looking for her estranged husband.

Johnny Satterwhite, 36, is the stepfather of three of the children and the father of one. Investigators say they think the children, ages 10 to 16, were killed in their sleep. Each was shot in the head and may have been dead for at least three days.

Neighbor Bette Dials says it was a great shock.

Neighbors became suspicious when the oldest girl failed to show up at school Friday.

Laurens Police Chief Robin Morse says an entire community is grief-stricken.

The children's mother found them Sunday when she returned from her trip.
