DMV to Get New Computers, Driveers Get Fewer Delays

The Department of Motor Vehicles is going online next week in a move that should make processing titles, tags and registrations a much faster operation.

The State Title and Registration System (STARS) will be set up while DMV offices are closed Tuesday, November 12.

STARS will also streamline renewals, speed up fee computation and provide more efficient transactions.
