Republican gubernatorial candidate Robin Hayes of Concord will chat live with WRAL OnLine visitors starting at 12:30 p.m. today.

Hayes, a two-term state legislator, will answer questions about his platform and campaign for governor. He is trying to unseat Democratic Gov. Jim Hunt, who is serving his third four-year term. Hunt was invited to participate in a live chat session, but he declined, citing a busy campaign schedule.

To pose questions to Hayes, visit ourchat pagein theFeedback area of WRAL OnLine. No special software is needed.

If you cannot participate in the chat, visit the page later for a complete transcript of the chat session.
