Fort Bragg Soldier Suspected Of Rape in Custody

A Fort Bragg soldier suspected of sexually assaulting an elderly woman is in the custody of the military police.

Officials say the victim is related to another soldier who came home during the attempted assault.

The two soldiers fought and the suspect was stabbed. The alleged attacker is in stable condition at Womack Army Hospital.
