Wake County Animal Shelter Resumes Adoptions

A ban on adoptions at the Wake County Animal Shelter is over.

Adoptions were suspended for nearly two weeks because more than three dozen dogs developed an upper-respiratory infection.

Dogs were quarantined and the shelter was cleaned.

The facility is now in the clear.
