Wake County authorities have located a van that belonged to a convenience store clerk killed two weeks ago.

The van, which belonged to Ossama Haj-Hussein, was recovered from Chamberlain Road late Tuesday evening. The vehicle was stolen from the In-Out Food Mart on Creech Road on May 12, the same day that Haj-Hussein was killed in the store.

Authorities said the recovery of the van produced additional evidence that investigators are reviewing. Some of the evidence may show that the vehicle was parked on Pogue Street on the day of the homicide and left there for an undetermined amount of time.

The van is a 1992 blue Dodge Caravan with peeling and rusted painted on the roof. The tag number is

RRK-4519

.

Investigators are asking anyone who might have seen the van on or around Chamberlain or Pogue streets any time prior to May 23 to call the Wake County Sheriff's Office at
