Wheel Problems Cause Delays On RDU Runway

An American Eagle plane had some minor problems on a runway at Raleigh-Durham International Airport on Thursday evening.

An airport spokeswoman said the wheels on the plane were not aligned correctly and that the plane went off the runway briefly when it had difficulty touching down.

The runway was shut down while emergency crews responded to the situation. No one on the plane was injured, the spokeswoman said.
