Downtown Durham Street Reopens After Water Main Break

A section of Duke Street reopened to traffic after a water main break early Monday.

Crews blocked off Duke Street between Jackson and Chapel Hill street in downtown Durham around 6 a.m. Monday.

Police believe an old water pipe simply gave out. Officials were able to re-open the road at 4:30 Monday.
