Suspect Arrested In Sampson Robbery

Officers in Sampson County arrested a man they believe beat up an 80-year-old man for money.

Craig Simmons was arrested Wednesday night and charged with breaking into an older couple's home in Clinton and demanding money at knifepoint.

Susan Strickland says she came home and found the suspect hitting her husband. He asked for money, then took their wallets and left.
