A Raleigh cop accused of stealing from the Wake County School System no longer works for the department.

Raleigh's interim police chief told WRAL desk officer that Will Oates left Monday.

WRAL learned last week that Oates is alleged to have falsely billed the school system $2,600 for off-duty security work at Carnage Middle School. Oates has not been arrested.
