Durham Mother Accused Of Child Abuse Arrested In N.Y.

Police finally caught up with a mother accused of abusing her son so severely that he lost a leg.

Tamekecia Justice is in custody in New York. She has been on the run for more than a year. Durham police say she took off after posting bond.

Police say she left her 4-year-old son tied up for several hours. He lost circulation, and doctors amputated one leg. The boy survived.
