Lawsuit Claims Durham Students Unlawfully Kicked Out Of School

A class action lawsuit accuses Durham public schools of wrongdoing.

A North Carolina Central University law professor said about six students were unlawfully kicked out of school.

The school system is accused of targeting black and Hispanic students.

The lawsuit seeks monetary damage, a reworking of the district's gang policy and the readmission of some of the students.
