Lottery Holds First Raffle

The North Carolina Education Lottery conducted its first raffle Wednesday, with four tickets worth $1 million.

Lottery officials pulled 509 winning numbers in the “Sizzlin’ Millionaire Raffle.” Four $1 million prizes, five prizes of $100,000 and 500 prizes of $1,000 were awarded.
