Man Killed in Cumberland County Car Crash

A fiery wreck has killed one man in northern Cumberland County.

The accident happened about 11 p.m. Wednesday on Johnson Farm Road, about one-half mile from Fort Bragg. State troopers say the man was driving a truck around a curve at high speed when he lost control and hit a group of trees.

The truck burst into flames, and the driver was dead when officers arrived. His name has not been released.
