4 Injured in Durham Traffic Accident

Four people were injured Monday in a two-vehicle accident in Durham.

The accident occurred at 8:38 a.m. at the intersection of Holloway and Adams streets. Police said a 2002 Mitsubishi driven by Myishanka McMillian, 23, of Durham, was going south on Adams Street when it struck a Ford Explorer heading westbound.

McMillian was trapped in her vehicle before she was extricated by Durham firefighters, authorities said. She and two other passengers were taken to Duke University Hospital.  McMillian is listed in critical condition and her passengers were listed in serious condition.

The driver of the Explorer, Kathy Webb, 39, of Durham, was also transported to Duke with serious injuries.

No charges have been filed in the case. The accident caused traffic delays on Holloway Street for nearly two hours.
