Man Sentenced To Life In Prison For Eno River Slaying

A man learned his sentence in connection with the death of a Franklinton man.

A judge sentenced Shelton Epps to life behind bars Thursday for the murder of Sean Owen.

Prosecutors said Epps and two others beat and shot Owen, then dumped his body in the Eno River in February 2004.
