Bojangles To Open Restaurants In Mexico

A North Carolina favorite is heading south of the border.

Fried-chicken chain Bojangles is opening 10 restaurants in Mexico. The stores will be built over five years, with the first projected to open southeast of Mexico City in 3-5 months.

The fast-food company is based in Charlotte. Bojangles already has international appeal, with stores in China, Jamaica and Honduras.
