State health officials are broadening their attack on a Rubella outbreak.

The disease, also known as German Measles, has spread quickly through the immigrant worker population in Chatham, Lee and Randolph Counties.

The Department of Environment, Health and Natural Resources is now broadening immunization efforts to nine surrounding counties.

Free vaccinations are available immediately on a voluntary basis
