Wake Technical Community College needs a $1 million bail-out in order to keep its doors open.

Wake County school trustees planned to ask county commissioners for the money Thursday.

Trustees say they've been forced to dip into a reserve fund for the last several years.

Wake County provides about $5 million of the school's annual $27 million budget.

Trustees say without more help the school will have to cut expenses, and may even have to close
