Man Vanishes on Way Home

Raleigh police are asking the public for help in finding a 78-year-old Virginia man who disappeared after a holiday visit to Raleigh.

Joseph Edward Weaver left Monday morning at 10 a.m., heading back to his home in Suffolk, Va.

He has not been seen since.

Weaver was driving a 1990 Blue Chevrolet Caprice Classic with Virginia tags.

He suffers from diabetes, but otherwise has no health problems.
