Victim in Fatal Crash Identified

The victim of a deadly crash in Harnett County early Saturday morning has been identified.

Police say the victim was 23-year-old Corey White of Cameron.

The head-on collision happened on Highway 87, just north of Pine View, around 3:30 a.m Saturday. Troopers say White's van was headed southbound on 87. A northbound vehicle crossed the center line and hit White's vehicle.

The northbound vehicle's driver and passengers in both vehicles were taken to the hospital. Their conditions have not been made available.

Investigators say alcohol may have been a factor in the accident.
