Durham City Council Selects City Manager Candidate

Durham's city council has made its choice for the Bull City's next manager.

Marcia Conner, an assistant city manager from Austin, Texas, was selected as Durham's new city manger Tuesday morning. The city council unanimously voted for her.

The selection comes four-and-a-half months after former city manager Lamont Ewell resigned to take a position in San Diego. If Conner accepts the job, the council wants her to begin working in mid-May.
